AFR street legal 230cc LS1 Mongoose strip cylinder heads are specifically designed for Gen III Chevy Corvettes, Camaros, and trucks. LSX cylinder heads offer unmatched flow performance and feature 2.080 in. intake and 1.600 in. exhaust valves with their ductile iron interlocking valve seats. Mongoose strip heads are available with 62cc, 65cc, and 72cc combustion chambers. Structural features like AFR's trademark 3/4 in. thick head deck, a must for blown and nitrous applications, reinforced rocker stud bosses, and thick wall runners provide unparalleled durability. An exclusive new modern combination chamber design with a double quench pad area helps the LSX generate huge low and mid-lift airflow numbers.
